When and how did you stumble upon this, and what do you “relate” to in it?
What is relevant to an appreciation of this image, and does it tell a story?
How has this image served your growth as an artist?
This image is of a radio and speaker set, as well as CDs and cases. I set up my sister’s old
speaker set, so I could listen to a CD I got from someone at school. I used to drive an older car
that only had a CD input, so I have quite the collection of them to listen to. That image has a
nostalgic feeling to it.
This photo tells the story of someone listening to, and appreciating, music. The context of
nostalgia surrounding the CDs adds to my appreciation of this image. However, it is not essential to appreciate it. I think music is genuinely an inspiring and admirable thing that people mostly enjoy.
Music has had a large impact on my art and my journey. I always create while listening to music. Listening to different types of music influences the art that I’m creating, and it helps me to focus solely on the art. I love listening to music and getting inspired to make something as awesome as the art I’m listening to.
